Dominion Command Darts Champions – May 1999

Members are encouraged to participate in all Branch and Command sporting events; crib, curling, darts, golf and pool. Participation in these events provides our members with an opportunity to meet fellow comrades at all levels of play, Branch, Zone,
District, Provincial Command Championships up to Dominion Command Championships. Members participating proudly return to their home branches, sometimes with the first place trophy, but always with new and rekindled friendships!

In addition to these Command sports  championships many of our members as well as non-members participate in our Branch darts house league on Thursday evening, our shuffle board house leagues on Monday evenings September through April, Hillis
Annual Golf Tournament and Don Ferguson Memorial Pool Tournament.

Our branch and members have experienced a number of achievements in Command sports events throughout the years; we consider these events to be successful based on the involvement of our members competing and our members volunteering. In this regard, our Branch has recently hosted the following Command Championship events:

  • 1996 – Manitoba NW Ontario Provincial Command Darts Championships
  • 2005 – Manitoba NW Ontario Provincial Command Golf Championships
  • 2008 – Dominion Command Darts Championships
  • 2011 – Manitoba NW Ontario Provincial Command Crib Championships
  • 2012 – The 1st Annual Manitoba NW Ontario Provincial Command 8 Ball Championships
  • 2013 – Manitoba NW Ontario Provincial Command Darts Championships
